So Tell Me, Why is it That I Want to Blog?

Blogging was conceived of in mid '90s. It used to be a way to comment on a given web page, an opportunity for visitors and readers to react or voice out one's opinion on that page. What started as a simple, single-sentence commentary has evolved into pages and pages of personal opinion on just about anything and everything under the sun. As it continues to evolve and advance, online marketing has tapped into the blog's potential.

Basically, blogs were first introduced as web logs that refer to a "server's log file." It was created when web logging hit the virtual market. Web logging gradually saturated the digital community making the Internet an incredible source of super information.

Nevertheless, with the advent of online marketing, blogs had gradually taken the spotlight in providing businesses a chance to improve their productivity online. This is where the business blogs have taken center stage.

Blogging is the real deal. In this day and age where advertising permeates our lives, we question the credibility of marketers' claims. However, in blogs, real everyday people like you and me share their real-life experiences, unfettered by paid advertising. Reading blogs about personal product use is like talking to people about their actual experience with that product. You most certainly want to buy a tried and true, tested product.

Blogging builds authority and trust. As you get more and more into documenting your experiences on a given product or niche, your readers come to realize that they can depend on your posts for their own information needs. As such, you become an subject matter expert. As a result, more readers visit your site and more bloggers link to your blogs. As companies and professional entities realize the growth of your readership following, they may decide to contact you to advertise on your blog pages, or make you an affiliate, which pays for every referral generated from your blog site.

Business blogs are usually published to market the services or products of a particular web site or online business in an effort to improve online sales. Furthermore, commercial blogs are also one way of spotlighting the company so that the readers will know that a certain company is out there online. With blogs, entrepreneurs are able to establish a name in the digital market through news, articles and information that can be extremely useful in the reader's endeavors.

Blogging builds your market. Unless you are a movie star, chances are, only your mother reads your posts. Mother has a lot of friends, so she lets her friends know how interesting your blog site is. But you need not depend on Mom to increase your readership base.

You can build your market through e-mail. In today's shrinking world, blogging is overshadowing the e-mail's popularity in rapidly and effectively reaching and expanding a niche market. In this age of speed and instant access, logging in and downloading e-mail is simply taking longer than logging into a blog site. Let them explore your websites by sending a short e-mail message as a tickler to your blog site. If your e-mail is on a completely different subject, use your e-mail signature to provide a link to your site.

Additionally, you can join a blogging network. This is a collective group of of blog sites that share the same market, niche, interest, reader base, payment gateway, or anything else that tends to make you a group of like-minded bloggers. Buyers find credibility and ease in clicking one link to communicate with many real bloggers about a single issue. Most definitely, many bloggers are better than one.

Make no mistake about it, blogs are not created just for the fun of it. Blogging also has its own place in the world of Internet Marketing. So, for those of you who wish to succeed in your entrepreneurial, home base businesses, at least where writing is concerned, blogs are an excellent venue for making your mark on the world.

So there you have several good reasons why you should be blogging. And if you still just want to blog for fun, go ahead. Somebody's out there waiting for your post.

Using blogs as promotion for your real estate business is a sound strategy to increase the productivity of your venture on the Internet. In fact, many of these entrepreneurs are concentrating 100% of their time and effort into maintaining and improving their real estate blog to achieve their goal of success and profit.

Design

The physical appearance of your real estate blog plays a significant role in its success. In fact, nobody wants to stay long in a blog site that has crappy designs and clashing color that does not suit the overall theme. If you want to give your site a boost in success, then you better put a little bit of planning into its design. Choose a color and a theme that will accentuate the appearance of your blog, as well as giving it a professional feel that most clients and customers require in most online businesses.

Aside from being a promotion or an advertisement for your venture, an informative post will reflect the reputation and knowledge of the real estate agent in regards to the business.

I love the people versus people aspect of online poker. Compared with casino games where you're essentially playing against a random number generator, the best part of playing poker is reading the other players, understanding their strategies, their styles of play, then using them against them to hopefully win the pot!

But I don't like the amount of cash you have to be willing to lose! The point is, you never get it 100% right, and those mistakes can be very costly.

For a while now I've been looking for an alternative to online poker. Don't get me wrong, I'll never stop playing poker, but I wanted another game to play occasionally, but a game that would offer me the same things as poker - people versus people, strategy and tournaments.

And now I've found one - Kalooki. Online Kalooki is a variation of Gin Rummy, a card game played by between 2 and 4 players. It's easy enough - you're dealt 13 cards and you have to lay them down in sets and runs. Sets are 3 and 4 of a kind, runs are running flushes. First player to lay down all their cards wins.

The strategy comes in at the point where you have to pick up and discard cards. You can choose to pick up from the deck (face down) or from the discarded pile (face up) Obviously, choosing from the discard pile indicates to other players which cards you're looking for, but it also enables you to see what they're after - and keep those in your hand!

Rummy Royal also offer loads of tournaments including daily, weekly and monthly freerolls. There are also buy-in tournaments of various formats - multi-player, single table and multi table, where you can compete with hundreds of players worldwide in knock-out Kalooki tournaments that can last days - and win thousands!

There's also the facility to chat, either in the lobby or at your table - again giving you an insight into your opponents' personalities.

And Rummy Royal run frequent promotions, such as the current sign-up bonus - 100% match up to $200.

It's similar to the board game Rummikub, so if you've ever played that, you're off to a head start - think of it as online Rummikub!

And best of all, it's completely legal, even in the US of A. So if you, too, want an occasional alternative to poker, give it a go. I promise you - you'll enjoy it!

Andy Follin is webmaster of Kalookiplayers.co.uk. It allows Kalooki players to play kalooki online, against a thriving community worldwide. With full details of Kalooki tournaments and kalooki bonuses, it's simply the best kalooki advice site on the net!
